All New Program Shift Shop Preview, with Master Trainer Chris Downing!



We Coaches were fortunate enough to preview the brand NEW workout, Shift Shop, which was created by our new Master Trainer Chris Downing during my FREE Vaca to Punta Cana!

It was really an incredible experience. Not just the workout but the community of people who chose to wake up EARLY on their vacation to do something GOOD for themselves. And not just for themselves, we were ALL it that room showing up for the people we ARE already helping & the future people we have yet to help.

The workout was BEASTLY and while I wanted to give up a LOT, Chris' upbeat attitude and words really resonated with me. He spoke of speaking belief into yourself and reminding yourself just HOW worthy you ARE. I mean, the other trainers are inspirational but Chris just hit me in the feels this morning. While this program will DEF get you some BOMB ass physical results, the changes & shifts you'll start making mentally is going to be where the REAL transformation happens!

Free VACA to Punta Cana!


In case you didn't know, I was fortunate enough to earn this trip for FREE for JUST helping people! On TOP of that, I was also able to bring a guest. So I brought one of the TOP Coaches on my Team with me! 😛  I'll be missing my little man BIG time though!

My Ultimate Reset Journey


It's GO time. I've been putting off this program for almost a YEAR. And honestly, it's because I kept telling myself that I 'couldn't do' the whole no animal protein thing for more than a few days. In reality, that was a crock of shit. I can do ANYTHING...I just was looking for an easy out so I wouldn't have to challenge myself. Sound familiar? :P
.
The Ultimate Reset calls for no animal protein after day 3 in order for your body to really get a FULL reset. Hence the name :P We all know (or should know) that the average American intakes FAR more animal protein than needed. Honestly, our meals typically consist of primarily protein and carbs. When it REALLY should be PRIMARILY veggies. So, for the next 21 Days I'll be allowing my body to get it's protein primarily from veggies and to give it a healthy/natural cleanse.

While I'm not exactly focused on the weight factor, it's a MAJOR plus that the average person that does the Ultimate Reset loses 15lbs in the 21 day period. Woot! It's not too late for you to join me! Message me to get more details <3

Transformation Tuesday...on a WEDNESDAY!


Can y'all help me give a HUGE shoutout to Elizabeth?! I gotta really throw her LOTS of shout outs! She's a little over a month in and she was starting to get bummed because the scale was NOT cooperating. Then she took some progress photos and BAM! It just goes to show that the scale is DUMB y'all! Throw it OUT✊🏻🤦🏻‍♀️👊🏻

wShe achieved these AMAZING results by following the Core De Force workout program, meal plan, having the support of her AMAZING Coach/online accountability groups and replacing one meal a day with Shakeology!

No FRIGGIN way I can be a Coach man...


No way I could become a coach. I was a 300+ lb emotional eater that hated seeing anyone happy, so how could I coach ANYONE? Who would listen to a girl that has been known to lose 100lbs and put it right back on? Who would listen to a girl that has been known to eat her feelings? Who would listen to a girl that has been known to hate on others for their happiness?

Now, what if I told you that no matter where you are in your life OR your fitness journey---as long as you have a HUNGER to have MORE and BE more, that YOU could be a Coach--would you believe me? Probably not, right?

That's the cool thing about this business! There is not just ONE kind of person that needs help. EVERYONE does. So those things that I thought were REASONS that I couldn't be a Coach were ACTUALLY the reasons why I should!

What I've found is, there are people that NEED to see my struggle to KNOW that they are capable of something MORE. & thats what keeps ME going. That's what's helped me be so successful in my business AND lose OVER 100lbs (see image below)!

But I HATED Shakeology...


It's EXACTLY three years TODAY that I started receiving Shakeology. Mind you, I said receiving...not REALLY drinking it YET😱
.
At first it was just one more gimmick I needed to try. I didn't experiment much with the recipe and forced myself to drink it with just water because it was quick and required ZERO effort. It tasted awful. But having tried almost EVERY other drink out there...taste was no longer an important factor. Or so I thought...🤔
.
I found myself skipping the shake more often than not. Not understanding how "amazing" it was supposed to be like everyone said. Basically chocking it up to another FAILED gimmick
.
I figured, if I wasn't going to enjoy my food anyway...I might as well go the cheap route. As always, this way of thinking helped me lose weight but I gained it RIGHT back. Perpetuating the vicious cycle once again🤦🏻‍♀️
.
Fast forward 6 months. I tried this whole Beachbody and Shakeology thing again. Really and TRULY wanting to make this a LASTING change. It didn't happen all at once but I started to see a shift in my thought processes with the help of the 21 Day Fix and online accountability groups. The combo taught me to FIRST listen to MY body and that to have LASTING success you not ONLY need to eat for TASTE but ALSO for QUALITY. I mean, how TF are you going to make a LASTING change if you can't even stand what you're putting in your mouth?✊🏻
.
So I naturally started to experiment with Shakeology again. There was a LOT I didn't like. Some make it taste funny. Some the consistency funny. But then IT happened. I mixed chocolate with 1 cup of ice, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1/4 cup of water and I was in HEAVEN. Not to sound completely corny but it's true. At THAT moment a light bulb switched on and I HAD to have more. I think I had 5 shakes that day. 2 weeks with my new recipe and I FINALLY understood what everyone was talking about. I felt like I was FINALLY in the Shakeology LOVERS club! Haaa!🙌🏻
.
I'm not saying Shakeology is for everyone. I'm just saying that maybe you need to not ONLY revisit it like I DID but to REALLY take a close look at your thought processes. Are you trying to make a quick fix and DROP the weight by any means necessary or are you willing to listen to YOUR body and LEARN what it REALLY *needs* in ORDER to make a LASTING change? I'm just SAYIN💁🏻 HERES your MF sign✋🏻For Stop taking the "easy" route. You always end up right back where you started again...WITHOUT fail!

Healthy Crockpot Italian Chicken!

This is a FAV that everyone in your household will LOVE! Add it on top of some whole grain pasta or veggies and its AMAZING!




Ingredients:
 4 Small Chicken breasts
2 Cups clean, organic tomato sauce (21 day fix approved, can make homemade)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 
Garlic (optional)
1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning (sodium free)
1 tsp Sea Salt
Directions:
1. Spray your crockpot with non-stick cooking
spray.  
2. Place all four chicken breasts inside. 
3. Dump the sauce on top. 
4.  Add garlic and seasonings if desired.
5. Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2 hours.  
6. Sprinkle cheese on top and continue cooking
on low for 2 more hours. 
7. Enjoy!

21 Day Fix Equivalents:
1 Chicken breast = 1 red
Sauce = 1/2 purple
Cheese = 1 blue

This makes 4 servings!

Shakeology: Perfecting Texture and Tast


Shakeology is really good! I promise!
People who have been disappointed by other shakes on the market commonly resist the idea of engaging in any kind of nutrition plan that includes another similar product. They say:
  • It was a waste of money.
  • I didn’t lose weight with it.
  • It left me hungry!
  • It didn’t taste good.
  • I couldn’t stand the texture.
All of these are completely understandable comments, especially considering that these products don’t even come close to comparing to Shakeology. But, without getting a chance to sample Shakeology, it’s impossible to understand the difference.
You may be used to ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS:
First and foremost, Shakeology is 100 percent natural. It was developed by a vegan expert with masters degrees in nutrition and agricultural anthropology. He created Shakeology with NO artificial colors, flavors, stimulants, sweeteners or chemically-modified micronutrients. Nearly every other shake on the market (for weight loss, protein or other uses) contains significant amounts of manmade chemicals, artificial flavors and sweeteners and cheap fillers, specifically soy. The producers of other shakes dump in these chemicals to make their products live up to what most of us have been brainwashed to think things should taste like. We are so accustomed to artificial junk in our food, that we don’t recognize natural flavors and reject them as tasting bad. Shakeology is the cleanest, purest product possible.
TRY MIXING WITH ALMOND or COCONUT MILK:
Because it’s made from all natural ingredients, it’s not chemically formulated to be perfectly smooth. Because of this, some users initially think it’s gritty or extremely thick. It can be, but you can work on your preparation methods to make it thinner and smoother. First of all, adding milk, to your formulation will make it much smoother than just water. I highly recommend unsweetened vanilla almond milk (not dairy) as your base. If your shake is still too thick or too gritty, reduce the amount of Shakeology you use or pour in an extra ounce of milk. It may require a little experimentation, but you’ll get it right if you keep trying!  I USE 12oz of fluid, but the packet will call for only 8oz making it thick!
ADD SMOOTH INGREDIENTS:
Additionally, you can change the texture of your shake by adding natural ingredients. I like to add peanut (or almond) butter, bananas, strawberries and ice. It makes it like a yummy milk shake! Other ingredients to consider are Greek yogurt or avocado.   Here are some of my PERSONAL FAVORITE RECIPES.
If you’re using the vegan formulas, Beachbody experts indicate that they may actually have a more grainy texture as a result of the rice and pea proteins used. Consider switching to the non-vegan options.
BLEND IT WELL BABY!
Lastly,  consider investing in a quality blender, I use a Ninja.   A cheap, discount blender won’t break it down enough to make it truly silken, regardless of how many other things you put with it. However, it will make it much smoother than simply using a shaker cup will. Blending it longer may help with the texture.
If you just can’t get past the fact that you’re replacing a meal or snack with a shake and NEED something to physically eat, consider one of these recipes. I fully understand that sometimes you just need to put something in your mouth and chew on it — otherwise, I get “hangry,” too! These are great ways to incorporate your Shakeology into your diet:
CHOCOLATE SHAKEOLOGY PUDDING (Makes 4 servings)
  • 1½ scoops Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 ripe medium avocado
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
Directions:
  1. Place Shakeology, avocado, banana, almond milk, and lemon juice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. (If too thick, add additional almond milk.)
  2. Pour into four dessert cups; refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until set.
CHCOLATE ENERGY BARS Makes 12 servings, 1 bar each)
  • 4 scoops Chocolate Shakeology
  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup chopped raw walnuts
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup all-natural creamy organic peanut butter
  • Nonstick cooking spray
Directions: 
  1. Combine Shakeology, oats, walnuts, and raisins in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. Add almond milk and peanut butter; mix well with a spatula or by hand.
  3. Place in an 8 x 8-inch pan that is lightly coated with spray. Press down to flatten in to pan. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  4. Cut into 12 bars.
Shakeology NO-BAKE COOKIES (Makes 24 cookies, 1-2 cookies each)

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup cononut oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 and 1/4 cup oatmeal
  • 6 Tbsp Chocolate Shakeology
  • Parchment Paper
Directions: 
  1. Melt peanut butter, honey and coconut oil in a sauce pan over medium heat. Stir.
  2. Once melted, remove from heat and add vanilla, shakeology and oatmeal.
  3. Stir and drop by spoonfuls onto parchment paper
  4. Place in fridge to harden. Then ENJOY. Make sure to store in fridge.

It's the month that I made the decision to change my life and embark on my coaching journey AND it's the month where I took my FIRST step in really battling my emotional eating issues! What is Shakeology and HOW can it help my health?


#1 Misconception:  Shakeology is a PROTEIN Shake.  

Meaning just a shake that provides extra protein. I mean, I can't blame ya'll for thinking this since “protein shake” has become a nearly interchangeable term for ANY shake.  But, all shakes are not created equal, especially ones that contain just protein.  Shakeology is a very nutrient dense MEAL REPLACEMENT.  By replacement I mean it is the nutritional equivalent to FIVE plates of salad.  I don’t know about you, I do love salad, but I don’t care to eat five a day and certainly couldn’t do it for 180 calories.  Shakeology makes it very easy to cut your calories LOW, without subsequently cutting your daily volume of nutrients needed.  Truth be told, the majority of people are WAY MORE nutrient deficient, than they are Protein deficient.  So why just stop at a protein shake?


#2 Misconception:  Shakeology is about comparing Carbs, Proteins and Fats (i.e. Macronutrients).  This is not at all what makes Shakeology stand alone.   Its about EVERYTHING else.  The quality of all the ingredients, where they come from and what they do for your internal health on a cellular level.  Its also about what shakeology does NOT have in it.  No artificial sweeteners, no artificial colors, no soy, no artificial stimulants, no artificial flavors.  The sweetener, Stevia, is from a plant base.   So often I see people comparing shakeology completely on terms that are irrelevant and foregoing basic nutrition needs and food quality.
#3 Misconception:  Shakeology is not a WHOLE food.  Actually, yes it is.  Unlike many “processed fake” foods, most of Shakeology’s unique ingredients are imported from their countries of origin.  Each superfood has a unique way of being “preserved”.  It’s a very difficult and tedious process to dry a food out enough that it can be ground and stored in a bag, but not so much that it’s precious nutritional enzymes are killed deeming the it’s nutritional value, useless.  If its not dried well enough, the ingredients literally can go rancid in the bag.  It’s literally within a 5 degree temperature that makes the difference between keeping its nutritional integrity or burning it off.  Think of doing this tedious process times 70.  Thats the number of super foods (like wheat grass, chia seed, goji berries, maca root to name a few) in Shakeology that must EACH go through this process to keep its whole-food integrity.   I am confident in saying it’s a form of “dry juicing”.  Except with juicing you are typically not juicing this many ingredients and Shakeology is way less expensive and time-saving.
Shakeology from a CUSTOMERS PERSPECTIVE:

#4 Misconception:  Shakeology is EXPENSIVE.  To anyone who feels this product is expensive I know that I have not done my diligence in breaking down its REAL VALUE.  Most people will agree that they would spend an average of $3-$7 on a HEALTHY nutritious meal.  I know most store-bought salads cost even more than that, and don’t contain near the dense vitamins.   But on average I think we can all agree healthy meals  run between $3-$7.  Shakeology at $4.30 per MEAL (you are REPLACING a meal that you’d be buying anyway) comes in on the LOW END of average.  Not only are you replacing a meal, but you are also getting an entire days worth of vitamins that your body needs.  So you are replacing your VITAMINS, too.  Sure, you may need a specific vitamin  based on your conditions, geography or age, but in general, Shakeology will provide you (and your children) with all your daily whole food vitamins.
Here is my next point.  When was the last time you went to your grocery store and bought THIRTY meals all at once?  Typically, I’m guessing, you buy a few days worth each time.  When you buy a bulk bag of Shakeology, you are buying 30 of your monthly meals up front.  Thats 30 meals LESS than you’d be spending at the grocery store.  Because of the grocery savings, I actually deduct my monthly Shakeology from my grocery budget.  Its literally the least expensive AND the most dense nutritious  daily meal my family consumes.  For the price, I can not duplicate its vast quality of ingredients and nutrients.
#5 Misconception:  Shakeology is for WEIGHT LOSS.  Lets face it, most shakes are marketed this way so it’s what one would assume.  But heres the thing.  Anything will induce weight loss if low enough in calories.  Just because you are drinking a shake, does not mean the fat will melt off.  Actually, if you are not getting enough nutrients and calories you will actually inhibit your weight loss efforts.  Shakeology is about HEALTH.  When you put the RIGHT nutrients in your body that it needs to develop, heal, recover, repair and thrive, you will ultimately have MORE energy, LESS cravings, and FEEL better there fore you eat less and become more active.  With Shakeology, weight loss becomes a BYPRODUCT of dense nutrition.  To make my point, when was the last time you dieted and cut calories only to feel tired, grouchy and had a ton of cravings?  That is because you were nutrient deficient.  Its nearly impossible, even on a perfect diet, to cut calories without cutting your volume of needed nutrients leaving your body screaming for MORE (which we manifest as cravings).
Shakeology is your BASE.  Everything you do beyond that you know you’re at least covered.   What if you’re at your goal weight, or need to GAIN weight?  Because Shakeology is about DENSE NUTRITION you can use it as your meal base and add clean calories to it making it a 300 calorie, 500 calorie or even more… meal.  Lets face it, not everyone needs to lose weight, but every needs to be healthier.  And if you need to gain weight…why on EARTH would you fuel your body with all the chemicals that Ensure and Pedisure contain?  Shakeology isn’t MAGIC.  Its just clean dense nutrition made SUPER easy for everyone at a very affordable price.  Its my families “fast food” on the counter.  Yes- my family goes through 4-5 bags a MONTH because even though we all have different weight and caloric needs, we all share the same NUTRITIONAL needs.  Shakeology isn’t a weight loss shake—> its a nutrition shake.
